Biography
My research examines the impact and management of woody encroachment in savanna grasslands, focusing on Lake Mburo National Park, Uganda’s second smallest park yet rich in biodiversity. The study also explores the socio-ecological implications of woody encroachment on ecosystem services vital to surrounding communities. The findings aim to inform sustainable management strategies that can be upscaled to other savanna ecosystems facing similar challenges. My broader interests lie in agroecology, ecosystem resilience, and environmental conservation.
